  • Stephanie (Lani) Kahalekulu, student

Alohalani is a senior at UHWO majoring in Humanities with a focus in Hawaiian and Polynesian Studies and Hawaiian Language.  She has an interest in writing childrenʻs stories and hopes to be able to succeed in this goal and in having them translated into ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi. She re-entered the University student life in her later years, after raising children, and was worried she would be too old to be a student again.  She wants to let everyone know that it is never too late and that she is having a wonderful experience in UHWO.
